We read about Green Demolitions and became excited as our dream kitchen with upscale stainless steel appliances were now in our budget. We had many phone conversations with Mare about the appliances, styles, sizes and options. We made a 'wish list' and sent it to Mare. When most of the appliances arrived, delivery was scheduled and our Viking suite was here. There's one catch, we still had the old kitchen! So we put them in the garage covered them up like a new baby and off we were to plan our new dream kitchen. We love our new kitchen and appliances!

Contemporary Maple Cabinets with Stainless/Black High End Appliances/Italian iridescent glass wall and back splash.
I found my complete kitchen with upscale appliances in Honesdale. It had just been unloaded off a truck, not cleaned, set up, or anything. I had no idea at the time what I was going to do with this huge kitchen. I designed it, and worked with the contractors hands on each day! I was able to go from 1960's dark to this! My Lifestyle Area, it is more than a kitchen!
Our renovation began two weeks before Christmas, and finished the end of February 2008. No kitchen through the Holidays was hard, but so worth it!

A mix and match, DIY, 18th century farmhouse kitchen with Dark Cherry Rutt Cabinets, Viking professional appliances, and granite countertops.
Two amateurs, one 18th century kitchen in serious need of help. March 07: A cheap dusty pile of Rutt cabinets and dishelved Viking
dishwasher from Bridgeport. Bethel Tent Sale July 07: Viking oven, cooktop and microwave. Labor Day weekend: invite friends over for
demolition, send them home with mouse poop in hair. Yikes, still no plan! Measure cabinets, appliances, etc. A plan evolves. Months of
takeout ensue. January 08: Green Demolitions strikes a deal with Franke, We strike deal with Green Demolitions Norwalk for fireclay
sink and brass faucet. February 08: 20 lbs heavier, we’re happy to be cooking again.
