WHAT IS A PRE-PURCHASE KITCHEN?
- A pre-purchase is the purchase of a kitchen before it gets to a Green Demolitions store. Customers have purchased in this way because they do not want to miss out on the kitchen they want (whether sold to someone else once it arrives at a Green Demolitions store or pre-purchased by another customer).
- Pre-purchase kitchens are kitchen donations that are of excellent quality and condition being sold at 50 – 80% off market price. Many of these kitchens would cost well over $100,000 at retail. Many include premium appliances and granite or marble countertops. Others have been smaller kitchens that, while not approaching the $100,000 replacement value, have been installed but never used (i.e. displays from kitchen showrooms).

CAN A
PRE-PURCHASE HAPPEN ON ANY KITCHEN?
- No. Of the hundreds of kitchens donated to Green Demolitions, very few qualify in quality and condition to be a
pre-purchase kitchen.

HOW DOES A
PRE-PURCHASE WORK?
- A customer who chooses to purchase a kitchen from Green Demolitions under a
pre-purchase agreement is relying solely on the pictures, layout and inspection reports provided to them by Green Demolitions staff. Since all sales are final, Green Demolitions must be absolutely sure that the customer WILL NOT be disappointed with this important purchase.

HOW ARE
PRICES ESTABLISHED?
- Green Demolitions keys their prices off a market value replacement cost. It is usually 50 - 80 % off market price. It may be higher or lower considering all that is included. Our
pre-purchase price range has been from $12,500 (a never-used smaller condo kitchen with brand new appliances) to $33,000 (for a large estate kitchen with premium cabinets, granite, appliances and butler’s pantry).

HOW DO
PEOPLE FIND A PRE-PURCHASE KITCHEN?
- The Green Demolitions customers find
pre-purchase kitchens in our “Coming Soon” section, then make an inquiry to the store.
- After reviewing all the inspection pictures, layout and discussing the inspection report with our staff, they receive a
pre-purchase agreement, which details all of the elements included with the kitchen.
- After reviewing the agreement, the sale is finalized by accepting the agreement and making payment for the kitchen.
- Payment is made in full. In some cases—for example, should the removal date from the Donor’s home be several months away—a 50% payment is made to finalize the purchase, with the other 50% due two weeks before the removal of the kitchen.

WHEN WILL I
GET MY KITCHEN?
- The customer will be notified as to the removal date of the kitchen. The kitchen is then removed from the Donor’s home by our own skilled, bonded and insured removal team and delivered directly to the customer or to a suitable storage facility. A delivery fee does apply.

CAN I SEE
THE KITCHEN BEFORE I BUY IT UNDER A PRE-PURCHASE AGREEMENT?
- No. Green Demolitions respects the privacy of their Donors and does not seek to intrude upon them to “show” their kitchen to Green Demolitions customers.

WHAT HAPPENS
IF I DON'T LIKE IT?
- Green Demolitions sales are FINAL. There are no refunds. This is why we go to great lengths to give the customer as much information as possible in order to help them make this important decision.
